those of you with color, this is a outstanding name and address program.
It has the appearance on screen of a rolodex file. Name, address, phone
number and five lines of notes are easy to enter. You can search for
names, print entire files, mailing labels, envelopes, or pages. It will
dial the phone through a modem and keeps a phone log. It can optionally
work just as a pop-up phone dialer. Other features include an on screen
calendar, appointment manager, return address file and management
program, cut and paste functions for the field editor, database file
conversion, word or phrase searching, sorting by zip code and name, and
support for up to 14,000 records

and billing program. The documentation gives numerous other applications it
could be used for, such as "CPA or Attorney Time, Billing and Activity
tracking" and "Dentist's Patient Appointment & Billing program".
There are features that make it function in a number of different British
commonwealth counties in addition to the U.S. Once installed for foreign
operation, the phone dialing system can detect the difference between local
and long distance calls and then dial them accordingly. There is also a
built-in word processor and a zip/area code cross reference system. A 45,000
word spelling checker is included. This is DOS 5.0 compatible.

with the ability to track thousands of clients, companies, contacts, projects,
or jobs.
A note-keeping module is included that will link memos to the dates and
clients to which they apply. In addition to the usual name and address
information, each record has space for six full lines of miscellaneous data
and nine customizable fields. Each note kept may contain up to 17 lines of
information. Requires Hard disk and 1 meg memory.

salesperson, geographic area and by eight user-definable fields. Report
capability includes tracking of calls, printing prospect lists, advertising
sources where leads are generated, and more. Phoebe can be easily tailored by
the user to fit different types of businesses.
Phoebe can be used by more than one salesperson and can be used to track
salespersons by performance, current sales, year-to-date sales or
appointments. It can also help determine who to call on and when to call on
them and set up the most efficient routes to use in calling on them.
Phoebe prints mailing labels or onto envelopes with over 1,000 different
select and sort patterns and can also create mail-merge files. Requires 384k.

imported from ASCII files or exported into mailmerge files. Extensive help
screens are available, including a tutorial when first starting the program.
Contact will dial phone numbers through a Hayes compatible modem and keep a
log of calls made. A "VIEW" window allows you to view up to 35 contacts on the
screen at one time. It is also possible to write notes, make phone calls, and
write letters from this window. This program made PC World's list of Best of
Shareware. Also included is a companion program Hours/Expenses/Mileage 1.1
($35).

(making it a difficult program to classify). It also allows you to schedule
appointments, auto-dial phone numbers through a modem and more. Trilogy is
fast (being written entirely in assembler) and easy to use. Keyboard usage is
intuitive: Esc gets you out of things, cursor keys allow returning to prior
fields to correct errors, mnemonic keys represent commands (eg: Alt-C to
Center). The program will handle a client list of up to 100 clients.
